| Minimum 1–2 years of MIG welding experience preferred
Experience welding mild steel required
Ability to weld in flat and horizontal positions (vertical a plus)
Familiarity with production or manufacturing environments
Ability to meet quality standards and production schedules
AWS certification is a plus, but not required (skills will be evaluated) |
| Key Responsibilities:
Perform MIG welding on steel parts and assemblies
Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work instructions
Set up welding equipment and adjust settings as required
Inspect finished welds for quality and accuracy
Grind, clean, and prep parts as needed
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production goals |
| High school diploma or GED preferred
Technical school or welding program a plus
Equivalent hands‑on experience will be considered in place of formal education |
