| The CNC Break Press Operator ensures the proper setup and operation of the CNC Break Press.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Understand and follow all company policies.
• Power up and power down the machine.
• Call up a program and load the program to the machine.
• Complete all required paperwork in a correct and timely manner.
• Set up tooling; load necessary tools and manage the tooling life.
Skills and Specifications
• Excellent teamwork skills.
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows or similar operating systems.
• Equipment programming and operation.
• Ability to work with digital programming.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Selection/use of monitor/measuring equipment.
• Ability to operate fast-paced environment.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
• Annual Vision screening.
• Good physical health.
• Not taking any medication(s) that could adversely impact ability to operate machinery or equipment
• Able to follow instructions as directed by the supervisor.
• Ability to stand for 10 hours per day.
• Ability to work with heavy production equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs on a regular basis. |
