| Requirements:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of engineering principles
- Proficiency in using SolidWorks
- Knowledge of precision sheet metal and weld fabrication
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience with welding, laser cutting, press brake and machining is a plus |
| The Mechanical Designer/Drafter uses Solid Works, CAD and other drafting software to create and update drawings as well as provides support to production.
Responsibilities:
-Create mechanical drawings using Solidworks
- Collaborate with team members to determine best manufacturing practices
- Design weld fixtures and other tooling fixtures
- Develop flat patterns of 3D sheet metal parts for production
- Assist with the build of first articles and customer samples
